From cottage kitchens to farmhouse ranges
Arundel and the villages along the Arun valley are a regular round for me. Kitchens here run from small period ones where there is barely room to stand, to farmhouse kitchens with a range cooker at the centre of them, and neither gives me any trouble.
Space is rarely a problem, because nearly all of the work happens outside in the van. I cover the floor, take the oven apart where it sits, and carry the removable parts out to the heated tank, so you keep your kitchen rather than losing it for the afternoon.
Holiday cottages and second homes around here book me between guests, and plenty of households have me out before Christmas and again in the spring. Those are my busiest weeks, so a little notice helps.
