What I clean in Chichester

City townhouse, village cottage or farmhouse kitchen: every appliance is dismantled, tank-soaked and rebuilt on the same visit.

Single ovens

Fully dismantled, degreased and polished, including removal of the door glass, cleaning the door seals and the bits you can't normally reach.

Double ovens

Both cavities, both doors, both sets of racks and trays. Grill compartments and fan housings included as standard.

Range cookers & AGAs

Big jobs handled with care. Enamel, cast iron and stainless steel all treated with the right products.

Gas & electric hobs

Burners, pan supports and control knobs soaked and scrubbed, and the hob surface itself cleaned; ceramic and induction tops brought back to a streak-free shine.

Extractor hoods

Grease filters degreased or replaced, canopies polished and the sticky film above your hob finally dealt with.

Microwaves

Inside, outside, turntable and roof plate. An easy add-on while I'm already in your kitchen.

Careful with old kitchens, thorough with new ones

I work right across Chichester and out into the surrounding villages. Kitchens here vary more than most, from small built-in ovens in town flats to two-oven ranges and AGAs that have been in the same family for decades, so I price on what you actually have rather than a standard rate.

Older appliances get treated gently. Enamel, cast iron and stainless steel each want a different product and none of them want anything harsh. Everything removable goes out to the heated tank in the van and the cavity is cleaned by hand, so the mess and the smell stay outside your kitchen.

A good share of my Chichester work is repeat custom, along with letting agents who need a kitchen ready to photograph at short notice. One-off cleans are welcome, and most people settle into a visit every six or twelve months.
